Niagara Falls, one of the ultimate places on Earth to run a marthon and a magical place you’ll never forget!

With a relatively small field of around 1,000 runnners and in a far off country this marathon, not only stands out for having one of the 7 wonders of the world as a back drop, but it’s is a challenge not many of your friends are likely to match!

The only marathon in the world that starts in one country and finishes in another, Niagara’s International Marathon begins at the Albright-Knox Gallery in Buffalo N.Y. The first 6.5km (4 miles) travels the majestic parkways of Buffalo before crossing the Peace Bridge into the historic old town of Fort Erie, Ontario. The Half Marathon joins at the half way point with the route tracking the beautiful Niagara river, and with a 2 mile downhill, finishing at it’s magnificent Falls.

The course is flat, which along with the relatively small field compared to many over saturated International marathons, means little runner traffic, making for a fast course, great for PB’s or just getting round with minimum hassle! No wonder this ncredible venue has hosted two US Olympic marathon trials and the 1995 World Veteran's Games marathon.
