RULES:
• 2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw during a round robin league stage. Knock out stages will follow for highest ranked teams, culminating in a grand final.
• In the event of a tie on points between two teams there will be a bowl off to decide the higher ranked team: All 6 player will bowl at one stump with the team hitting the stump most times winning. If tied after 6 the bowl off will go to sudden death.
• There will be five overs per innings with all fielders bowling an over, except the wicket-keeper, who may not change positions with another player during a game, unless an injury occurs.
• Two games will overlap to save change over delays (One team from first game bats, then one team from second game bats, then second team from fist game bats, then second side from second game bats).
• A squad of up to 10 players may constitute a team, but no player may move from one squad to another once he has played for a team.
• Each team must supply an umpire while not playing themselves.
• A batsman scoring more than 50 runs in an innings must retire, but may return if the remainder of the team is dismissed.
• Wides and no-balls will incur a 3 run penalty. No extra balls will be bowled, except in the final over of a match.
• A no-ball will be given when:
1. A ball bounces more than once before reaching the batsman.
2. A ball is bowled above waist height on the full.
3. A ball bounces over shoulder height.
• Each team will pay a £60 entry fee in advance to cover the cost of running the competition and agree to raise a minimum of £60 in sponsorship SpecialEffect within one week after the competition.
